My 3m trizac belts won't wear out. But they don't cut so hot either.

As prodded on by fellow forum members I've tried the Norax belts. I bought an x30 and x45. Nice belts, cut better than 3m for sure, but nothing to write home about.

In my never ending search for a belt to use after 220 ceramic on S30V, I tried a Norax X65.

Yeah Baby!

I've found the solution.

Yes, calling is a better deal. the Tru Grit website, especially, leaves a lot to be desired.:(

Does anybody make 1 x 30 or 4 x 36 Norax or Trizac? When I went back to Pop's site I did mange to find the 2 x 72 Trizacs...

I should probably just keep playing with the cheaper belts until I decide if I really want to dive into this. If so, I'll invest in a 72" grinder -- after I build a new garage and workshop. I just came in with frozen fingers after working on the mother in-law's kitchen knives in my unheated garage. :(

(No, I'll not build the new garage just for the sake of making a knife workshop -- we're in the process of planning a major addition to our little house anyway.)

Shalom,
Mark
