I had purchased a couple of Busse knives a while back that I felt weren't quite perfect. I sent them off to Nate (norcalblacktail) and asked him to work his magic. Here are the results.
First knife was already unique in that it is an Active Duty with a Snakeskin Game Warden handle. It had an Arctic White coating which I didn't much care for. I asked Nate to turn the talon hole into a useable finger choil, skeletonize the tang, and give it a satin finish with a convex edge.
Next was the SAR5. I asked Nate to skeletonize the tang, thin out the micarta slabs, and clean up the finish but leave the INFI dimples.
Active Duty/Warden in choke up position
I can't tell you how satisfied I am with the results, I can't put it into words. Now I need some leather!
