Nordic Viking , on our PBS TV there are cooking programs including a scandinavian program. This year there is a swede, Tina Nordstrom, and on some of her programs she is using a very nice chefs knife , a damascus blade. Have you any idea where the knife is made ? Is it Damasteel ? It doesn't look like the typical Damasteel pattern .

Yes the photo on top ,that's Tina ! She actually does a good job cooking too.
 
Yep, she's hot but then most chicks look like her, over here :D

Seriously, will check up on the knife and get back to you.
 
In the latest show she used some kind of a Japanese chef' knife. Not too long, maybe 7-8" long, damasteel.

I sent an email to Tina's producers and asked about her knives. This is the answer I received from them:

"Hej
De knivar du beskriver som Tina använder i programmet är handgjorda av en bekant till Tina i Helsingborg och finns inte att köpa i handeln.

Mvh/Matredaktionen"


Translated: They're handmade by an acquaintance of hers, and are not commercially available.
