I did this knife in amber dyed stag. The amber dyed stag is expensive and when you get it in the mail and you first look at it you think to yourself "What is this all over the stag?" But the beauty lies beneath the surface because as you start to shape and buff it out for the finish the beauty comes through and it looks really great. The knife below was made from a pattern sent to me by a customer and the cost to make a knife similar to the one below is $300 by this pattern but the handles have the amber dyed stag on them and to me they look beautiful.
This knife turned out beautiful and even though the stag is high in cost I think the results are worth it.
