The knife below is one of my standard 3.5" knives and the handle material was sent to me by the customer. Brandon had the material in his possession many years ago and sent it to Randall for them to use to make him 4 of their Gambler models. They made 3 and the last block of handle had split right down the middle. They sent him the 3 Gamblers with his knife handle material and they also sent back to him the block that split. I am told that the knife material is the old Westinghouse Micarta and that you can't get it anymore. I tried to get the photos to show the grain in this material. It works beautifully and I wish I had a tractor trailer load of it, maybe 2. This stuff even smells good when grinding and shaping. He kept it all these years and saw some of my knives and asked if I would or could use this material on a knife for him and it worked out great. It pays to save the scraps.

Thanks everyone for looking, your support is very much appreciated!!!

That is REALLY nice.

If I may make a bold suggestion, you should try using natural, indirect light for your photographs. Your knives deserve it!

I love that!! I love knives with white handles scales and red liners. That just makes my heart go pitter patter!
