These are Chinese Tokerovs chambered for 9mm with a safety switch which supposedly were designed specifically for export. From what I've heard most are reliable and durable, but there have been a few complaints.

I'm wondering if any of y'all have any experience with these and what your thoughts are.

Thanks.

Norinco firearms have quite a following up here in Canada. Lots of haters just because there Chinese but if it dosn't bother you, there good guns. I'm buying a Nork M14 soon, cant wait for it. On the whole: the fit and finish isn't the best, but there's a reason there popular up here- there a good price and work good :)

I didn't think any Chi-com guns were allowed in the U.S.?

Some Norinco guns aren't allowed in the US, for example, the M14 which the previous poster mentioned. I forgot the actualy legal reasons, but they allow some. Most of the Norinco guns you will find in the US are SKS'. From my advice, Norinco's kind of suck. Sure, they are a great deal but you always pay for what you get when it comes to firearms(or just about anything). You can actually go and buy a -real- Tokarev for probably the same price you're going to pay for the Norinco clone.

I havn't heard much about the Norinco Tokarev or the fact that it's chambered in 9mm. A real Tokarev is usually chambered in 7.62x25, which people seem to love the round for the cost effeciency. A Tokarev can be filed as C&R weapon, if it's the real deal, and that just makes them even easier to come by. Take a look around at a few websites. I know a few that usually have them in stock, but I can't post them here because I think it's against rules. If you send me a email, I'll send you a reference for a few sites to check out.

All in all, I wouldn't go Norinco, but that's me.
