I was given this hatchet when I was hunting for old stuff to put in my roof racks for car shows/cruises and ended up using for camping and really really liked it and decided to restore it.

That's a nice little hatchet. Do you know how much it weighs or how long the handle is?

The head weighs in at a pound and had a 12 inch handle. Those were the before pictures I have since removed the handle, gave it an acid bath and started filing the mushrooming on the poll. I will post pictures later today of my progress.

i found a norlund hatchet in my garage it is only the head, guess its my dads im gonna ask him and see if he will give it to me and im going to also restore it
