I recently picked up a Norlund axe head and was curious about the roll marks. It says Genuine Norlund on back left side of the head near poll edge, (markings are perfectly normal). My question is, why is it on left side of the axe head when all of the other Norlund heads (Hudson Bay pattern) roll marks I have ever seen have been on the right side? Any helpful info would be greatly appreciated.
