Sweet, which sword is that? - Never mind, I was in a hurry; it's the Castellan. :o

Are you trying to seduce Norm to get something without a kink in it? :D

Edited to correct my own carelessness.

That one there rocks, Sweet! Albion Swords are OMG nice...

want their Fulham Gladius soooooooo bad. Luckily it costs nothing to drool.

Sweet, so far I have two katanas and two Albions picked out thanks to you, but am going to have to hold off at the present. I went through my khuk pile but have pretty well thinned the herd of older stuff, and really want to keep what I have left. I may be able to come up with 5 or 6 more, but that's not enough to score much. Easy (or not so easy) solution is to just get more $! :D

Thanks for the links.

Groan! Oh man, that is so fine...:confused::D But I would have to sell a pile of my great HI stuff. Just can't do it. Need to get some new $ flowing into the system here.

Thanks for sharing (I think )

M. Taylor I'm trying....:D

Norm! Sell your pile of H.I except for the rares...this gives you a chance to go back and buy more H.I thus helping out Yangdu and the Kami(s)....:D

What are your plans for the Aggie?

I had plans to fit the Ag to my ElJay brass basket-hilt that he made for me...From the Morro Bay sword meet I picked out 3 more historical basket-hilts for ElJay to make for me...so now I don't know if I want to save the Ag for one of those or continue to shave the tang down to mount it to this one...after a year this is all the natural patina I have gotten from a satin brass finish, need to do more fondling:D

What do you think of the steel on the Albions?

I have read posts at swordforum that tell different stories. Some people say that their steel is soft - softer than Atrims, while others claim that it is perfect and makes great cutters.

I really enjoy looking al ElJay's work! He's such an exceptional craftsman. I'd certainly like to see the final product when you're done.

Arty,

I do remember some discussion on swordforum about the hardness of Albion's blades, but I don't recall any specifics other than what you've stated. I read a fair bit over at myArmoury and don't recall any discussion about this, but then the brain's a little more porous than it used to be.
