Normal Flaws For New Bencmade Mini Grip??

Purchased my first Benchmade last week and it arrived today. So far I really like the knife and the axis lock operation but did notice two flaws after closer inspection (pictures below); 1) The pocket clip is not in contact with the handle. 2) A notch present in the opening hole.
Are these typical of Benchmade and the mini grip series?

My mini grip has the same notch in the hole. And just take the clip off and bend it back. My clips end up looking like that and I just bend them back + some to add extra strength.

There was some discussion awhile back about the notch in the hole. I don't remember if it was decided why it is there, but IIRC it is common on the blades with the holes.

The notch in the hole could be cleaner but it's not a flaw. As for the clip, simply take it off with a T6 torxdriver and bend it to your liking (I own a small vise for this and other projects) and enjoy using the knife.

Take the clip off and bend the tab that has the screws go into it backwards. That should fix it.
