normal or slight imperfection ?

Site is unreachable for me. That's the main reason I stopped using photobucket...Popups galore that come really close to malware.

Wish I could see it

Go to "media" in the bar along the top of your screen
Then on the left side, select "Your Media"

IIRC, you have to create an album..it's been awhile since I tried it out.
Anyway, once you do that, you can upload your pic. Then on the right side after you select your picture that is in your album, you can select the link with "Share BB

The pic needs to be smaller than 1.9Mb if I remember correctly.

Works for me and I can say that it's not normal but doesn't look like it's harming anything.

Its normal if its a newer model which it appears to be. Ive had a dozen pass through my way that had that little bit left over from milling.

2012, what do you consider to be a newer model? And why is it considered normal if it's a new model?

Looks like a corner radius that didn't get quite taken out.
IIRC, they are now using a waterjet to blank them out and are finishing with a mill.
My newer Inkosi doesn't have it..but I can see how it could happen. Lot-to-lot of machined parts will have imperfections if you take a magnifying glass to everything.

I'm not sure if I'm of any help because I only own sebenzas but my 2015 and 2017 don't have anything like that.

I would consider that a " slight " imperfection, but I'm kind of more on the picky side. People always say CRK goes above and beyond in customer service. Maybe having them take a look at it they would fix it for you? I'm not familiar with the logistics that would go into correcting something like this but if it bothers you it never hurts to call them and ask or email them pictures and see what they say.

Well that's unusual, I guess if it's adding too much weight to the knife, you should send it in to get it removed. :D
I had to go check mine to see if I was fortunate enough to get extra material. Didn't find a single one :(, some people have all the luck.

If it bothers you, send it in and you'll be taken care of

When you pay the price for a CRK, you are paying for the best fit and finish in the business. It should at least be brought to CRKs attention. $500 knives shouldn't have machining mistakes. $500 knives go well beyond function.

This is true, but it's also up to the individual to determine how much it bothers them and whether they want to send it to CRK to resolve or just accept it. With having them fix it there is the inconvenience of packaging up the knife, sending it to them, waiting for them to fix it and then having it shipped back. For some it's just not worth the annoyance. Even a $500 knife may be a hard use knife that's going to get snail trails and scratches, etc. Another option is to live with it and when (if) you ever send in the knife for spa have them fix it then.

I can't tell from that photo what the issue is. Is the choil not cut correctly?

I checked my Sebenzas

Small 21, stamped C15, looks the same like you picture
Lange 21, stamped A16, looks the same like you picture
Large Classic MM , stamped B07, looks the same like you picture
Large Regular, stamped A99, looks the same like you picture
Large Regular, stamped C03, dosen´t have this "imperfection"

That seems kind of unacceptable to me with 4 out of 5 having this issue, but I suppose to each their own.

Bart1 I believe bhyde put it the best so I'll repeat his response
