"Normal" or "Weird"?

My most carried knives are a Buck 301 Stockman and a 110.
I have a very difficult time taking the 301 out of my pocket, and replacing it with something else - even if it's a different Stockman by Rough Rider or Böker.
I can't seem to take the 110 off my belt for more than a month, and only then for a 112.
I even stopped carrying my Old Timer 7OT (after 25 plus years of constant companionship) when I bought my first 110 in 2014 or 2015.

Is this "normal" behavior, or am I just weird?

Every once in a while I carry one of my SCM7's because, well, theyre a nice knife. That happens about once every year or two. Don't feel alone. Pete

Pretty normal, I think. Been carrying mostly a Case medium Stockman in my pocket and a Case Trapper on a belt sheath, but have been coveting a 301 and a 110. I suspect the 2018 forum knife (a two-blade 301) will see a lot of pocket time when I finally get it.

I always need a Buck on me. Usually I have a 110 or 112 on my belt, but if I want to carry a Case trapper or backpocket I still need a 501 or 303 in my pocket. I have a modern folder on me most days so if I'm wearing shorts I'll have a 501 on my belt and a modern in my pocket. I need to get a nice vantage instead of my plain jane version and that'll help me out. We all have our own unique systems and I don't think any are weird. I like hearing about everybody's set up....cool thread

What is weird is that I found the perfect knife, 35+ years ago, still carry it everyday. Yet I still buy others thinking it will be better, but still end up back with my 110. What a waste. I have enough good knives, to last me and my kids lifetimes easy.

Nice to have variety to choose from.

Yep, knifenuts are a weird bunch...all in their own way. In the mid 70s I carried different Buck knives, 110, 112, 501, and 505 depending on the occasion along with the 118 or 102 when hunting/fishing. When pocket clips became fashionable(for me) I wanted to carried a Buck but, I never could warm up to the liner lock. Recently(past 5-6 years), up until this last year I carried, shhh, a BM mini-grip...Axis lock. My good friend and hunting buddy gave me a 898 Impact for Christmas this past year and I've EDC it since. Preston

In the end it's about doing what makes you happy. There are worse addictions to have. Lol!
