I recently got a knife from my grandfather, a Normark big swede. I have almost no clue about and internet searches have turned up nothing. It is a stainless, lockback folder in a leather sheath. Think kinda like a buck 110 from Sweden. Will post pictures when I have a little more time. Any info is appreciated.

i had one and carried it in the early eighties. It finally had the handles crumble to pieces after many years of service. Wish i could fine one again :). A good knife and I think you are right; kind of a Buck110

The Normark "Big Swede" was made by EKA of Sweden. Steel was likely Sandvik 12C27. The similarity to a Buck 110 ends at "large lockback". It looks very different, though the usages might be the same.

Google the phrase
Normark knife "big swede"

You will find a fair number of references. Lots of positive comments about the knife.

You might also post on British Blades and ask for info. European knife folks likely know more about European knives than us Yanks.
