I have found the following information on NC knife laws:
"Knife about 4-1/2 inches in overall length which, when
folded, was clearly designed for carrying in a pocket or
purse, was an 'ordinary pocketknife' as defined by this
section."
However, this information seems somewhat vague to me. From that it seems you could say that the 4-1/2 inch length could apply to the blade, handle, or even the total length when open.
Could someone chime in and let me know if a Spyderco Police (blade length = 4-1/8th in.) is legal to carry in North Carolina? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
