I need to know of some stores inthe jacksonville gainesville st. augustine area where I can buy knives. All of the sports stores and knife shops seem to be a little high on some of the prices. I like to at least hold a knife before i buy it even if i plan on buying it online. Can any of you knife nuts in these areas give me some ideas.

There's not much in the Gainesville area, but there is a store on E. University called something like M&C Army/Navy Surplus, or something like that. They have a somewhat decent selection of CRKT, Benchmade, and Spyderco, at less than MSRP. It's about 7-8 blocks east of 13th St.

I know of nothing in the entire northeast Florida
area with a decent selection. I personally have
found it impossible to look and feel before buying.
