North Fork, maybe?

I'm looking at a Benchmade North Fork, but just thought I should check out any alternatives before I pull the trigger.

I like the "wood" look and I'm also looking for something similar in size. The North Fork has a nice non aggressive looking blade shape and good pocket clip.
So I'd be keen on them too.

Sometimes with steel bolsters would be nice though.

Ok, thanks in advance.
Cheers.

Yeah, looked at the mini.
Nice but would prefer something a bit smaller with a more sheeple friendly blade.

I would definitely get one. Loved mine. Got stolen at work. Blade shape was a bit hard to sharpen but worth it. The wood looked great and held up to abuse very well.

Great knife and for me a better grip than the mini crooked river which even though it’s the “mini” is quite a bit longer in the pocket. Both are great choices.

I've got a North Fork. It was my first Benchmade and my first pocket knife that cost over $100. It's well designed and well made. Comfortable in hand. The jimping near the tip is unusual and handy when using a detail grip. It's probably one of my favorite knives. But it's not my favorite EDC. The comfortable grip makes it a little chubby in the pocket. And something about the relief around the thumb stud (which makes it effortless to open) makes it catch on the edge of my pocket when putting it back in. So it takes more attention than most to put it away.

My North Fork isn't going anywhere. But I'm still on the lookout for a nice wood handled modern folder for EDC. I've looked at a Boker or two, but haven't pulled the trigger. I'll probably buy a Civivi Elementum if they make another run with the rosewood scales.

One of my friends has a Mini Grip with titanium handles with wood inlays. It's very nice. But I think it was a gold class and $$$$.

I sold mine to a guy at work and regretted it ever since. The thumb stud got caught on my pocket a lot, but it was still such a cool knife. If you decide to get one, I think you'll like it.

I’ve got one. I agree with most of the previous comments. I like the wood look, strong, small, kinda chubby in pocket. Opens and closes easily, recurve blade I could do without. I’m right handed, and leave the clip on it, but usually just throw it in my left pocket and go. Never had it catch or open.

Agree with the above comments. Nice comfortable smaller knife but big enough for EDC and my four finger grip. A little chubby in pocket like alot of benchmades but fills the hand better. Not crazy about recurves but they cut well, pulling in the material. Bm s30v is good stuff and i like the extra jimping out towards the tip. I have the wood version as well as an ebony wood elementum. I like the north fork but carry the elementum more. Hard to go wrong with Civivi imo for the price point but either are good choices. Crooked river is good also and has aluminum bolsters that can be unscrewed. I own the full size where the mini is not so mini either but a good EDC size and weight as well.
