If I hosted a free all day class on fire in the Chatahoochee National Forest, probably one of my haunts between Helen and Suches, GA, would you be interested in attending? Tentatively thinking it would be Sunday, April 5th.
I have formally taught tree/plant ID, among other things, but this will be the first time I have taught fire to a group, so you will be my guinea pigs! Limit would be 10 people and I believe I already have a few friends interested in going.
This is really too much for a day, but thinking we would try to cover...

how to properly extinguish a fire (without water)
modern methods such as matches, ferro/magnesium, magnifying lens, etc.
natural tinders
flint and steel
bow drill
