Yeah, the light in that picture is just silly good.

I've posted all of these at some point before, but here you go. Some of my favorite pics of my two all time favorite (and most used) Becker knives.

In the pics, its hard to see the mirror edge on the BK16, but if you look at the pic of the knife with the Ruger revolver, you can see the reflection of the trigger guard in the edge, to give you an idea.

Dayum....now I know what you guys were up to while I was trying to get my billy pot boiling....alone...by myself....

Figures. Allay'all were taking glamour Becker porn while I was using mine trying to get damp combustibles to stay lit.

But, I did get the only group shot - tho the sun reflecting off the cranial solar panels made for difficult exposure metering....

My Magnum Camp BK-5 (with an NH watermelon from the Portsmouth farmer's market) thanks to Uncle E and Ka-Bar, received at my first Gathering 5 years ago - with a sheath by our own J.D. @the710customsheaths. This group has given me so much and shaped my life positively in so many ways over the years - all starting with my first Gathering. If ANY of you have the opportunity to get yourself to one of these events, I would urge you to GO. I cherish the friendships I've made from this community built by and around Uncle Ethan. Thank you, sir.

My first Gathering, ca. 2013, and my eldest setting me up with the BK-5 seen above (while my younger daughter plays with Becker) :

Congrats bearfacedkiller, I knew I was screwed when I saw the volume of great pics from you.

Ethan, I will e mail you in a bit. Off to the woods now :)

Wow! Thanks! Great pics everybody.

I was fortunate to have some overcast days for photo opportunities. It makes for great diffused lighting. I guess that is a plus side to New England’s gloomy weather.

Those berries are partridge berries. They are edible but also flavorless. They grow all over the woods on my property.

Jeremy, I don't think "screwed" is an apt description for being the runner up ;).

If I'd known Ethan was partial to moss, I might have posted this one:
