Thanks for the link. Interesting that there are two sharpening gauges shown for axes, one for softwoods and one for hardwoods. And photos of 48" bowsaws.

Ive got a 42 inch saw kicking around. Weighs a ton, great for cutting small diameter stuff, 4 full strokes of the saw will cut a 3 inch piece or so.
