A new one I call “ Northern Aggression ”

OAL: 11/2”
Blade Length:6 1/8”
Blade Steel: 7/32” 1080/15N20 Ladder Pattern Damascus; Very sharp
Bolsters: Bright Brass
Handle: Stabilized Maple Burl (from the batch I cut and has done at River Ridge)
Hardware: 3/32” Brass pins
File Work: Vine & Thorn pattern on entire knife
Tapered Tang: Yes, to 50% of original thickness.

Nice filework ! Bright brass bolsters are not my cup of tea, but the blade looks really good.
 
Thanks Patrick. I'm not sure why, but I was thinking about the Cival War when I was making this knife. Too much History Channel I suppose. And I've seen several dress pieces from that period that had bright brass on them so I went with it. It really makes the figure in the maple burl pop.
