Now, my camera has a weird effect of making pictures brighter than what they are, and even though these are a bit brighter than it really was, these aren't far off, at all.

I've always liked the Northern summers.

I bet that place is a tad cold in the winter, eh?

Does -35* to -45* count? :D

:D Yes, that qualifies

In Phoenix they make a big deal when it gets down to +32*F.

Back in Hawaii, in the winter, up in the hills overlooking Pearl Harbor where it is a tad chilly in the morning (+68*F) you see the kids wearing thick coats in the morning when getting on the school bus. I remember this one local kid was getting ready to join the Army, and I had to try and describe to him what really cold weather and snow was actually like. I think he still didn't grasp it 100% till he got to the mainland

haha yeah, I find it nice after winter when we start getting -5 and up (celcius) really nice, but. There are plugs in all of the parking lots to keep you car plugged in during the winter. Also you HAVE to plug your car in at night during winter, or it won't be starting up in the morning.

When I lived in Ft McMurray it got so cold one winter I had to keep my POS K-car running all night, cause if I shut it off the engine would freeeze up, even with the block heater plugged in.
Being from Lotusland down here in BC I never understood those dual snap-together keychains until my first Northern Albertan winter. (One side has the ignition key, the other side has the door key so you don't have to turn the vehichle off when yer at the mall, you lock the door with the motor running)

Do miss being able to hit the driving range at 10PM after work in the Summer though.

Great pics man brought back memories for sure!

Freshman year in college, I had a roomate from Ft. Lauderdale florida. Needless to say, the first time he experienced snow, and cold winter, he was a bit surprised that it was in fact cold.
