Hello everyone,

Well after putting about a month into designing the website, and save for a few glitches, I think it's about there!

We just got all the permitting done, so now it's all about the setup and gathering of materials. There's a good team of us, but help is always welcome!

Feel free to email me for any additional questions!

Here you go!

very cool Paleojoe... i will see if we can make it.. i think my boys and the misses would love it..

edit: just noticed Velton is one of the instructors.. i have met that dude a few times, we share a lot of the same friends, in the trad. archery/bowhunting communtity, here in Santa Cruz...

Mike, that would be great if you all could make it!

We'll try and get Paypal up ASAP for early registration...
We expect a good turnout. Will cap numbers at about 350... We'll see!

Looks great. What is the cost? Is it prorated based on the number of days? I would love to go, but could only make it for the weekend most likely.

Wanted to bump this back to the top to get notice and hopefully to get more info from Paleojoe.

Kage,

Thanks! Was just about it to do it myself!:D

As for the questions regarding cost, on the website, check the 'Register' page.

(Paypal should be up and running in the next week or two, once the business status is cleared...)

The prices for early signup will be significantly less than at the door.
Children have discount prices as well.

Day rates are also posted. They are subject to change based on response. We would like to encourage longer than a single day, as some of the workshops will be longer than a day (i.e: buckskin)!

Keep in mind these rates are standard from the other gatherings we've been researching, and we are adding alot more goodies.

All prices will include two excellent meals, open access to workshops, campsite, river access, bathrooms, parking, the option of child care, and all sorts of little pluses!

We also offer a work trade option, as we can definitely use the help! The duties for work trade would be at this point kitchen setup, firewood, lodgepole cutting and setup, trash cleanup, etc...

Feel free to email me directly for any other questions!

Thanks for posting Paleojoe.

I would love to come but I don't think I could afford it (although the price is excellent, especially for early registration!), and I don't know what to do for child care.

I may see what I can do, because it sounds like an amazing opportunity and I regret not making it to Dirt Time in SoCal.

Again, thanks for getting this put together for us up North!

Kage, I wish you could make it!

How old are the little ones? We will be putting together kids workshops with sitters and such, with all kinds of activity stations for them...

My 11 year old would love to come and enjoys all of this kinda stuff, but my 2 year old is a handfull.

I'll see what I can do to make it for a few days, maybe.

Thanks for your concern, Paleojoe. You're a stand up guy!

Great news, we got the LLC status up and running!

You can now go to the website linked above and register via Paypal.

Discounted prices for early registration!

Thanks all!:D

that would be cool, I'll be backpacking in Ireland the whole month of may, sorry I can't make it mike.and palejoe

Update:

Among all the other offered workshops, there will also be a skin-on frame kayak building workshop offered by Seawolf Kayak and Native Lifeways Center!

This Gathering is really shaping up! Hope to see you there!
