I know we're not the only ones catching hell with record snowfalls and record temps but it most certainly is one Mell of a Hess here in Indin Territory!!! :thumbdn: :grumpy:
Yet we're still counting our Blessings as we're both feeling pretty well, all things considered, as we still have power as well as enough food for a few more days for which we are very grateful and thankful!!!
However with that said we have a few potential problems that could turn very severe here in a very short time unless ODOT comes up with a way to get the Interstate Highways passable for all of the trucking company's big rigs sooner rather than later. These trucks are what keeps all of the heavier populated areas supplied with everything the grocery stores provide for us that they're quickly running out of and especially the staples such as milk, eggs, meat, and bread.
So far we've had more than 20" of snow and I'm thinking we were told 22.++ inches on our 10 p.m. newscast. I know that yesterday morning we woke up to -6*, yep that's Six Below Zero which isn't unknown here as I think our record low for around this time of year is -16* that I don't even like to think about!!
The Helluvit is we were also told on the 10 p.m. weather that we had picked up another 3-1/2" of snow today with another 6" to 8" coming in tonight and tomorrow!!!
We're praying several times a day that we're able to keep our power, 'cause if not we'll be like we were in 2007 and stuck in a shelter and if that happens I'm afraid we may be there longer than the week we spent in 2007.
And besides our possible plight here in Tulsa we're also continuing to pray for all of those that have been or are in these storm's path's no matter which part of the country they're in!
