Just got back from a trip to the northern woods of Wisconsin. Brought along my KFU EDC and here are the pics I promised. Oh yeah, sorry no "action" pics my buddy was in charge of taking the pictures of me using the knife and on the second-to-last day he took a spill out of the canoe and dunked his camera...hopefully he will be able to pull pics from it.

That is one big SOB! He makes that knife look tiny. Hope you had a great time brother and I hope you liked the knife. On a lighter note, the Camelback Mule you sent me had found an owner! My little three year old has claimed it and carrys it around everywhere he goes... with chest strap latched! I looked in it today and it had a container full of legos, cookies, and ground blanks that I have been looking for the last couple of days. He loves daddys knives! Ill get a pic up tomorrow. He literally takes it everywhere he goes. Thanks again Brett and thanks for the pics.

Chris, when did you start making "miniature" replica knives ??? ???
B.T.G, that knife is either really small or you must have a really hard time finding gloves that fit . . . . . :)
Still though, that knife looks like it would be a great all around knife for food prep, fuzz sticks, or just about anything else you would need for a camping trip . . .
Hope your buddy is ok & you didn't lose any gear when the canoe went haywire with him.
Be safe.

Chris- glad to hear the backpack has found a good home! I like your sons style...I've been known to pack my bags full of Legos, treats, and knives (in my younger days of course;)) Can't wait to see that pic. Dude, thanks are not necessary but your welcome, keep up the good work.

Just1mor- No the knife is not a mini:D and Yes finding gloves that fit is a pain in the butt (I'm just shy of 6'4", 340 lbs., I'm kinda big). Even though I've been known to split XXL gloves, my KFU EDC has excellent ergos and fits my hand great. Performance of the knife was superb. As for my buddy only thing hurt is his pride...and maybe his phone and camera:o. He is new to canoeing and is not used to how tippy (probably not a word) a canoe can be. I've been canoeing enough to have invested in roll-top waterproof bags so my gear and me were fine, my buddy's gear was wet but all there. Keep well.

Man, like father, like son . . . . .
Must be a Tenn. thing about males and wearing shoes when photos are taken with either knives or wood scales . . . . LMAO
Chris, you hit it buddy, "Like father, like son" . . . . :D
Be safe.

Fine looking son,Chris....

Worried about the welfare & safety of that orange he's holding....in his off hand.

Chris that pic is freakin awesome! Fine lookin lad you got there. I wouldn't have the guts to try and take that bag from him even if I left a $1 million in it (wouldn't want to get chopped up....or citrus squeezed into my eye!).

Thanks guys, Ryan is a daddys boy for sure. That kid does things Ive never seen a kid do before including my others. He actually can do a pull up on his own, no crap! Sorry Alan, he pretty much has taken over the Parang too.

Chris, with that gear and look, Ryan could share a campfire & fruit with me anytime . . . . . :)
Shots like this 25 years from now are what makes the Thanksgiving & Christmas dinner table conversations very interesting, especially if pics are still available to prove it . . . . .
Be safe
