I got in a new GEC Northfield Trapper on Friday, and I thought I'd do some phtots for you all.

The new knife is Burnt Stag #45. Labeled 1 of 50

I really like the swedge cuts on these blades; this is a nice, sleek knife.

Nice!!! While I'm not a big fan of clip blades, add swedges like those and I'm hooked.
Thanks for sharing.

Very nice, joe-bob-- I like the Northfield swedges, too. Funny, but those look like the same muskrat clip master they use on the Cuban stockman, but they don't put swedges on those, even the Northfields.

They use some nice looking stag. Trappers aren't the most utilitarian for me, but they sure are the essence of traditional. Beautiful knives.

I'd like to get hold of one of the single bladed jobs. Just the right size.
