I finally got some pictures of this knife. I think of this as a Northwest knife because the bolster kept reminding me of a Northwest Indian motif when I was working on it. I didn't really set out to do it but it reminds me of an eye from a totem pole or on a bent wood box. I am not sure if my interpretation is accurate but that is how I saw it. The handle is cocobolo.

Length overall 11 1/2"

Sharp: 5 1/2"

Width of blade at widest 1 5/8"

Thanks for looking.

This is just my humble opinion, but for a blade that elegant, you need an elegant handle as well. The rustic style handle just doesn't seem to fit the blade. But, with that said, I bet it sells fast. Your forging/grinding and carving is superb.

Thanks for the comments. Parbajator, I am quite familiar with his work in fact I try not to look at it too much because it is so nice I tend to want to copy it. David, I appreciate your comments, I actually played around with several mock ups of different style handles including one with a Northwest Indian motif but this is what I settled on -Todd Miller
