On June 24, 25 & 26 the Bellevue Martial Arts Academy is hosting a weekend seminar in the San Juan Islands featuring Grandmaster Ramiro Estalilla of Estalilla Kabroan Eskrima, Punong Guro Myrlino Hufana of Hufana Traditional Arnis and Guro Scott Brennan of Lucalylucay Kali. Grandmaster Estalilla is a 75 year old living treasure of skill, experience, history and tradition. P.G. Hufana is organizing and promoting some of the best Laban Laro stick sparring tournaments on the west coast and will be offering a special session for advice and tips on competing, rules, gear, etc. Guro Scott will be teaching the Kali/JKD blend as well as offering custom FMA training weapons for sale.
This seminar is appropriate for beginners, as well as experienced martial artists, with 3 full instructors and several black belts to to help those new to the Filipino Martial Arts.
