Last Sunday I went to the NWKC show at the Best Western, next to the Tacoma (WA) dome. One gentleman had a two table display of his Schrade Collection and it was pretty impressive! From his two Officer models to just about any model you could think of. He had what he said was a model that he had never seen or heard of another one. It was an Old Timer Scout knife. Not Boy Scout but that genre, spear point blade, screw driver/bottle opener, can opener, and awl with a bail. It had a "Old Tmer" eschueon on the side and looked to be in mint condityion. has ayone else ever seen one of this model? John

The one under the glass does indeed have saw cut delrin scales. I am the gentleman John refered to. i actually had 3 tables set up at the knife show. the knife John mentioned can be seen by going to the Sticky( open for viewing) page 1 collectors of Schrades r us, scroll down to Collectors Corner, Grey Menace collection , go to picture, imcp 2450,i have had this knife for awhile and have yet to see another one, happy collecting, Dick

Dick, I thought you might be on this forum. Thanks for taking the time to put out your collection, it was very impressive. John

This is why collecting Schrades is so much fun, there's always an oddball poppin up.

...and, Dick, your collection is outstanding. Thanks for posting it online and travelling with it. I nearly got out my passport just to see the show but Seattle still is about 8 hours from me. Long drive. Maybe someday I'll marvel at your collection efforts in person.

Very nice Schrade Dick!

Do you make it down to the Eugene show in April?
If you do, please look me up. My table has been O-10 for the last couple years. Haven't gotten this year's assignment yet.

Do you have a schedule of shows in Washington?
I have been thinking about coming up that way just to see a show.

I am down in Salem.

Hope to see you in April.
Dale
