Northwest Knives & Collectibles Jan. Show

Hey Guys-

I just wanted to let you all know there is a new show this year being put on by Northwest Knives & Collectibles. It is being held at the Cyrus Reed Opera House in Salem, OR, on January 12 and 13.

There is supposed to be about 100 tables of custom and antique knives on display and for sale.

I am very excited about this show as I think it has potential to be a very good one...something we really need in the Northwest. I know Eugene is huge, but this one is closer to ME and I think at its size it may be a little more personable. Don't flame me for that, I'm not bashing the Eugene show at all! I'm just sticking up for the other end of the spectrum too.

I would like to hear if any of you guys will be going....makers, buyers, chatters...everybody.

Would love to make it down, but I am going to be at a big electonics show in Las Vegas until the evening of January 11th. Maybe next year. Thanks for letting us know and if they set there dates for next years show let us know as soon as you can so plans can be made.

I've got a table reserved for this show too. I'm thinking this show is going to be special too. Anyone who has been to Bill's store should know he won't do anything second class. My only problem is getting together enough knives. Gonna be busy on the weekends till the show

Nick, it's a knife show so I'll be there. Probably only Sun. though, damn job works me most Sat's. I'd be surprised if this show isn't successful, Bill Claussen has a lot of connections and is well established in the knife biz. In fact, I bought a knife out of his new catalog today. That's my problem, no disipline. I see a nice knife and I gotta have it, even if I can't afford it. I really shouldn't go because I'm broke but I'm a certified knifeknut so I'll see you there. To make matters worse, NWKC will have another show in Feb, then OKCA in April. Don't know how I can afford this affliction!
