Ok. First off, I'm not and expert or even a great enthusiast. I do have a good knife collection going. Mainly I have several of my grandfathers old knives and many more I have gathered along the way. One day I put them all on a table together and thought "I am a knife collector."

Several years ago I saw a picture of a Northwoods bullet jack and said "I want one of those." I have searched the internet and have never found one for sale. I have many questions.

First, are these knives still in production? Second, can you purchase knives directly from Northwoods? I have never found a website for them. Third, how do so many people have them and post pictures of them? Why so many that I see out there, why are they so rare? What has made them so sought after?

I see this knife and think this is the Great American pocket knife. It looks like it belongs to a boy scout in 1955. I don't know if I will ever get my hands on one, but I am going to try. Any information will be welcome. Thank you and have a great Thanksgiving. God bless.

Northwoods are made by Great Eastern Cutlery for Knives Ship Free. I’ve seen a few I really like.

Close to all of them!

Although not exactly the same, they were built on the GEC #25 frame. Those aren't easy to find either but it might do as an alternative.

Knives Ship Free own the Northwoods trademark and they periodically have a knife made by Great Eastern Cutlery on their behalf. Years ago, Queen also made some of the Northwoods knives. You should be able to find something akin to the model you're looking for on the 25 frame.
