Has anyone used these belts?
The claim is faster cutting and less heat and require less pressure. Roughly the same price as the Blaze.

I local supplier sells them. I have used a bunch of them. Honestly, I can't tell the difference from the orange. But, this might from my lack of experience. They seem to work just as well.

I just ordered a few, along with some Blaze. I’ll see if I can tell the difference, I tend to be a bit of a skeptic when it comes to manufacturers claims.

Ive tested the 60gr and the 120gr there good, and I would take them over the orange ones I hate that black backing on them . My go to belts are VSM in 60gr and 120gr.

Maybe I’ll just pick up more VSM belts next week.

If I was stuck I would go with the red line but VSM is the best bang for the buck. I ground out 200 blades in 2018 VSM works . To me the Red line just never had the same life in them. Mine you I only tested two of each . I just took note on what I did with them compared to VSM .Others might have different results.

As soon as I tried the VSM belts after you recommended them, I was sold on them. They suit my grinding style perfectly.

I’m using the XK885Y in 60 and 120 grit. I have some 220grit and 400grit belts as well, but haven’t quite come to terms with them. They are a different model number that I’ll have to look up when I go out to the shop later. For 220 and up, I like norax belts on high alloy steels, but I didn’t l,e the, on regular high carbon steels. They seemed to gouge the regular carbon steels, but with higher carbide volume, they work better for me.

No I’ve been getting mine from industrial sales in Edmonton. Never checked PoPs but I’ll check them out. Thanks

Pops are $4 for VSM. Don't be scared about the shipping charges since they do their best to get them lower than the computer estimate. They have a limited supply of steel micarta and things like corbys but anything they do have is substantially less than everywhere else. Its making S35VN a go to stainless for me just because of price.

I got my Blaze belts this week.
They are working much better for me than the VSM (XK880Y, they got dull very fast). It’s been too cold to do much in my garage lately, -18c this morning, so I haven’t tried the Red Heat yet.
Hopefully this weekend.
