Norvell Shapleigh Hardware / Diamond Edge

I recently read an article detailing the Norvell-Shapleigh Hardware Warehouse and how it had been destroyed by a fire. Their trademark Diamond Edge stamp can be seen on several tools and knives including vintage folders, hammers, saws, chisels and various other hand tools. While the company has been out of business for a long time, and the building had been empty, it’s a small piece of local history that is no more. I can just imagine the sights and sounds in its heyday.
