Mainly out of curiousity, i started wondering how many Norwegian/scandinavian beckerheads (or enthusiasts if not official "heads") there are out there.
I thought it would be fun to know. And who knows, maybe there will be a viking gathering in the future:D

Several. Heck, one of em even designed the BK14. Or pieced together the bits that would become a BK14. PropthePolecat is the guilty party there.

Bobber signing in from Oslo Norway.....
Wild Viking Beckerhead Gathering would be awesome...
Only thing is I'm afraid it would be a small thing, maybe make it a Bladeforums gathering...
Cause I know there are Norwegians and Scandinavians elsewhere in this forum.:/

While I'm no Becker-head, I'd be very much interested in a Norwegian/Scandinavian Bladeforums meetup.

I've actually been talking to Lennox over at the Busse forum about this..
He said he could maybe arrange for å site, a place where we could camp, play with knives and even do some shooting, hehe...Somewhere outside Oslo, near Gardermoen I think...

I can't see why you should not be allowed to come, all is welcome if they bring food, drink and good times....
But I don't really know when, where or if this is happening...
For now we are just on the drawing-board I guess..
But I sure hope this will happen some day...

From my experience, beer is expensive in Norway. So I will bring beer. And knives. And all the good times I can find :D

Knife enthusiast from Finnmark reporting in. I'm no beckerhead (yet), but I'm absolutely interested in a meetup. Gardermoen is a pretty good place to have it, easy access from everywhere.

A viking bladeforums gathering seems like an excelent idea. If or when it starts to take form i suppose a thread in the community center would drawmore attention from the rest of the forums though.
I got a feeling most scandinavian/north european knife enthusiasts hasn't opened their eyes to the BK&T awesomeness yet :P

Guess the community center would give a better result,, I push Beckers whenever I see a chance, but the biggest problem is that there are no Norwegian shops selling them yet...
Got some of my friends to buy from me when I order from US, though...

I will be glad to send swag......Give me plenty of warning as I have no Idea how long shipping takes......

Ethan

Thank you very much Ethan. I'm trying to figure out how, when and where, but your more than generous offer will be much appreciated..
You sir, has to be one of the top ranking of stand up guys in this community...

Bring your Becker knives and the others will be Becker enthusiasts before the gathering is over. ;)
