Has anyone here ever bought any of the knives offered by the NorwwgianShop. They offer Bruseletto and Helle knives and I am wondering if these are real working knives of just gift shop trinkets that are for looks only.

:D

I've bought several of the Helle knives from Ragweed Forge and they are real life working knives. Some look real nice but work even better. I don't think you'll be disappointed by these scandinavian knives.

The Bruseletto blades I used to but years ago to make patch knives for muzzleloaders were made of laminated steel. They aren't fancy but they are definitely a terrific working blade.

Those knives are great!
Sheeple friendly, AND beautiful design! (can be hard to find...)
And they work, and work, and work...
I have one Brusletto Falken. sharp clip-point blade and fingerguard.

Cut wood, skin animals, gut fish whatever!

This knife is the knife used by the norwegian natives. Very good knife: very high quality, low price

Here is their site:

It looks like it is only in Norwegian, but just look at the pics.

I did a search at 1sks, but i didnt find anything in english for you.

The knives are great though the prices are pretty high compared to ragweed forge and Ragnar's service is the best I've encountered.

I appreciat all of your comments. This eases my mind a lot since I ordered the Helle Harding (tripple laminated steel) If this knife is as good as you all say it should be then I will be ordering more of them since I really like the puukko style knives and Killam knives are very pricey (some $800 and ^).

Thanks again, I knew that I could depend on the forumites to help out!
