NOS BM 35's?

I went to a local Gun & Knife store on Friday and saw what was apparently 2 NOS BM 35's. One has a "rainbow" finish on the blade and handles, and the other was silver. Both have a cordura sheath with the "BaliSong" emblem. I bought myself a new revolver and didn't pay nearly enough attention to the knives. Anyone know when BM discontinued the 35's? How about that "rainbow" coloring?

The 35 was discontinued around 1996; the 'rainbow' 35's were from, I believe, The Edge Company.......I don't think they were ever a big seller.
