We are just getting back to the grindstone after hanging out with you lunatics this weekend. I have a few pics I will post later, but thought you all might enjoy this video that my son shot of the new TM Hunt Bolo. I don't know the first thing about videos so he handled most of this so blame him for the quality.

the first thing you do when you see JASON 13 coming out of the lake is PUMP IT FULL OF DOUBLE OUGHT :D

we generally like Meester Hunt, so as a mod, i'll allow this, as long as you know, i get to try one of those at a Gathering someday. looks fun.

it was an interesting knife -- and there was comparison chopping between it and several other knives at the gathering, including most of those in the comparison shot at the end of the video.

Thanks. Which Ka-Bar did you modify that was chopping so well?

I have been saying for a while that Parangatang chops WAY above its weight class.

Yeah.....if you can, ah....handle it. I personally don't find the hand/knife interface too comfortable....but that was only a few minutes of use. Impressive chopper for sure, but I certainly didn't discover a burning need to own one. Bought a second RBK instead.

I agree that the parangatang is completely uncomfortable. Vik modded his to make it rather bearable, though. It really helped.

i find the Parangatang is very comfy... if you like holding a proper khukri, then this is similar.

fairly interesting to notice who has a hand bias :D

The pointy hump in the middle of the handle is just terrible. It might work for a fraction of the people out there, but almost everyone I've ever talked to says that handle is downright awful to use.
