This is the 2nd knife that I have made. Not a khuk, but inspired and influenced by the Kamis. Cuts tree limbs pretty well. Here's a link to my post in the gallery. Link

Fun stuff!

Very nice. It's especially nice considering that it is only your second knife:eek: I can't wait to see how your subsequent blades look.

Steve,
That knife is very nicely done. I particularly like the handle, looks very comfortable. Congrats.
Did you normalize on the first heat treat?

Excellent work Steve, I hope you share a few more with us. I'll be looking forward to it.

Nice. Very clean and efficient looking.

For # 2 I think you've done very well. And it's damn big for a second try. If I ever try this, I think I'd be making kardas for quite a while.

Please keep us informed on your subsequent projects.

Very nice knife!

IS there a picture available of the first knife? That one is probably better than anything I could produce :)

Dayum!!!! That Is Sweet!!!!

A natural talent. Those that have it, have it, and those who don't, don't.

You'd be surprised at the amount of fellows that couldn't/wouldn't learn to grind a specially ground cutoff blade.:(

and I am touched that you thought to make such a beauty for me.

(or is it that I am merely "touched?)

Kis
(who does not "have it")
