Not a knife but....

I had somebody ask if I could make a damascus marlin spike. It seemed like a cool idea, so I took on the project. It was a lot of work, but I think in the end it was worth it.

The steel is 1084/15n20 in a Gordian Knot pattern.

Let me know what you folks think.

Hrmmm....I DO need to start doing more destructive testing on my knives...Maybe I'll make a big ass knife and just go and punch some holes in that old Honda...excellent idea Butch!

alot of knot work is done for show and your right might as well show off even while doing it

If it wasn't for the fact that I'd likely end up looking all "Mall Ninja" or something trying a Honda chop I'd put it on YouTube That said, I may have to make a big chopper to give it a shot anyways

That's cool. There was a time, when I actually used those things, but I have never seen one as pretty as that. "big bad darning needle" ....... good one.
