Not a screwdriver

My SAK Electrician's screwdriver blade has never turned a screw. It has ,however, pried open a dozen paint cans and a host of other containers. Anybody else have a similar experience?

Similar for me with the can opener. My current carry pioneer (since 2018) has never opened a can, but I use the tool all the time for prying, scraping, etc.

Almost the same here.

It's been used for a light duty pry tool, poky/prodding tool, scraping tool, and once in a while an actual screw driver. The little SD tip of the can opener is however, a great Phillips driver and gets used a lot for that. The can opener is a great staple remover, and once in a while on a camping trip will open a can. The small can opener driver also makes a great tool for adjusting Smith and Wesson revolver sights, and Williams Foolproof rifle sights.

thread title made me "think" of allegedly intelligent so called "friend" asking "can i borrow your knife?" resulting in proven beyond a reasonable doubt dumber than a rock so called "friend" giving knife back with broken blade cuz IT used your knife azza screwdriver or a pry. 😳😡🤬
glad i was mistooken.

I don't have an SAK Electrician. However, all the 85/91 mm and larger Vic/Wenger SAK's (and my 4 blade Scout/Camp/Utility/Demo knives) I have are equipped with at least the screwdriver/cap lifter blade.
It is not used often, but when it is, I use it as a screwdriver.
It has been at least 25 years since I have needed to open a can of wood stain, Captain's Varnish, or bottom paint.
When I needed to open any of the above I used one of these:

(Used to be "free with purchase" of stain, varnish, or paint (and sometimes free for the asking in the paint department) at Home Despot.
I don't know if they still are. I have not been to their store since 2017 or 2018. ☹️)
