This is a bittersweet post.

Just a note, when getting something, get the best:

She came to me today and I couldn't be happier:D She was very nice, BUT I feel she is MUCH better off with the Busse Snakeskin grips.

I needed a pick-me-up after I got a phone call from my Doc. Apparently Wednesday while breaking my weight lifting routine to do some cardio, I stepped off the bike wrong by pivoting on my reconstructed knee and TORN my ACL AGAIN!!!:eek::grumpy::grumpy::mad::mad::mad:

Granted it wasn't mine ( a donor's Achilles tendon), but now I am limping and face another surgery. Blade is still on, but now I am a wee bit ticked off. If it was something daring or heroic or even physically challenging, I wouldn't be so upset, BUT I was dismounting a fricking STATIONARY BICYCLE!!!

I think this was partially due to me taking the FREE VA surgery instead of going to an actual Specialist for the surgery....DON'T CUT CORNERS to save money, get the BEST.

Rant Off.......

Great pistol, I'm saving for a Kimber Tactical Pro II. Sorry about the knee!

And THAT my friends and hogs, is why I never exercise. Too much risk.... :p

Hope you're not in so much pain that you can't be trough-worthy brother...

Scott, Now THAT is the problem.....they don't want to work on the VA's Handy work.

Hammy, NO worries about that. I will be knee deep in the Trough!

Those snakeskin grips look freaking awesome!

I don't even own a handgun and I want some!

Brother, you've got my luck, worse luck than a hotdog in a fat farm.

Oh, nice pistol, but it ain't a GLOCK!!!;)

Don't worry Jason - at Blade they will have these federally mandated signs in front of the Busse booth. Should give you a nice spot to scream out the ...

I WILL TAKE IT!!

Sorry about the knee - hope she gets fixed soon

Oh Jason, that stinks about the knee...

But that is a SWEET 1911

And remember -- this is a gentlemanly group of hogs -- thay'll probably give you a sweet spot right up at the front of the trough :)

I don't know........... kind of sounds like one of those old HOG tricks.................. to up to the front of the trough easily...............................

.

Seriously, glad to here you're still making it!

.

Damn, man...it just hasn't been your 2 months. There's GOT to be something great waiting for you at Blade. Just you wait and see. Hope the docs are able to figure out something in your best interest, and not just their own. Good luck.

J

Bro, sorry to read about the knee. Prayers outbound though, and Congrats on the Pea Shooter.

true story hamguy, i get all the exercise i need being a pallbearer for all my friends who die exercising.

hope you feel better gravel, and mend fast.

Hate to hear the bad news, Hope you get it fixed right this time Jason.

Some of the best(most expensive) can screw you up just like the cheaper ones though. My 8th surgery was done by one of the best in US, he made my back even worse... but I do have a good bit of Titanium now:rolleyes:
It'll be hell but I'm gonna try for two days at Blade, don't think I'll make it through sunday this year.

edit- I made it sound like a better Dr may not help. Sounds kinda pesimistic of me,sorry. I'm sure a better Dr will help in your case. I sure hope so. Oh, And bring a stick to blade, it'll help you keep some weight off that knee.
