This one was just finished by Reese and just arrived today. Might just be the most well made knife that I have handled. Everything lines up beautifully with the grinds and swedges dead on. The sheild was "pocketed" with small chisels. The fit is so good flaws just are not there anywhere.

Awesome, Gus! Reese hit one out with that beauty. You have to be one happy camper. Thanks for sharing.

Folksy slipjoints? Awww, shucks.... Yep, that's a good ol' boy.

Gus, you're exactly right. Glad to see a classic shown clearly.

The fitment is precise beyond comprehension. How well I know. Congrats!!! :D

Gus, I agree, not enough slippies here, but you don't have to be "folksy" to appreciate a beautiful knife like that!!! Reese knows how to make a top shelf knife, and that IS a top shelf knife!!!

Bastid..
I am not too up on folders...but the first thing that struck me was the swedges on the blades..would I be correct to say that this knife is very "heavily" swedged?..it just looks fantastic.
Workmanship to me is just supurb...just how do these guys get those shields so nice, and to fit so nice? - wow!
Thanks very much for letting us day-dream over that sweet knife!

Gus are you sure you need that knife?
I mean you can send it to me to keep me company while I wait for certain knife to return.

now we know the definition of "folksy" -- hmm, might have used "classy or classic". wonderful looking folder.

I simply can't wait until my name finally comes up on Reese's list. That's a stunning example of craftsmanship.
