Where I work will make whatever you can dream up. (To a point)

Well, the charlotte bobcats (basketball) needed some foam bricks to throw out on the court when an oposing team shoots bricks.

So...with a piece of 48 x 24 x 14 piece of spongy foam I went. Then my boss says. Let me see your knife :D What we need is one of these but long and skinny. Well...I went over. Grabbed a piece of 1" x 1/8" hot rolled off the shop floor and went to work. In about 30 min I had a pretty nice 18" long cutting edge that resembled a damn samuri sword. So....with that I proceeded to cut the holes in the bricks using 1/4 plywood template to sandwich the foam.

Pretty fun this morning!

Who says you can't cut through bricks with a samurai sword? :)
Cool, I just get swords delivered to work, they don't let me used them. :(

IF I remember I will take a picture of it.....It would be even better if we had good hardenable steel lying around :D

We have some kind of banding.....its on a big roll... I keep thinking about saving all the bandsaw blades I can manage to find over the year but that would take a whole lot of blades to make anything good.....

now that you say that, I think they changed it from metal to plastic strips.....

You need to go to tacktrock hammerIn Terry. Should be fun. Its in Ga. in Nov.

I am hoping to be able to make it to TrackRock, probably will only be able to stay one day, trying for Saturday. Hope to see you all there. :)
