I know I have a perverted sense of humor so most will not be surprised to learn this picture gave me the best laugh I have had since the HI Khukuri Convention!

I only hope our trusty Safety Officer does not see fit to delete this thread. Spare them, Harry! It is all in fun and you can use the picture in your "don't do this!" section.

Even the HI Safety Officer has a sense of humour.

With Tom's permission, this will be included in the Keys to Khukuri Safety thread.

Now that picture would be really scarry if you showed wood chips strew about the ground and in the lady's hair.

Headbutt will have a brand new meaning.

The Nepalese version of William Tell...but you should use an apple, tomato or small melon instead of a board. What're you, chicken?

I was thinking that "Splitting Headache" would be more appropriate.

Very astute of the lady to be wearing protective goggles: The first rule of lab safety! Wouldn't want any wood chips in the eyes.

I tried talking my wife into letting me try this with her but she just wouldn't go along with it. Go figure.

TOM --- who ... is ... she?

Don't tell me vampire scared of Khukuri! Is that a stake at your left hand? And ... don't tell me vampire exist in Ohio!

well, as it turns out, i'm the photographer of this picture. The guy with the knife is a fellow martial artist.

The brave woman is my now-ex-but-hopefully-soon-to-be-ex-ex-girlfriend. (i hope everyone can parse that one)

No vampires in the woods of Ohio, but I have seen weird things in our national forests which require me to always be armed. Things ranging from harmless to extremely chilling. That khukri is my crucifix, garlic, holy water, and silver bullet all wrapped into one, especially when coupled with a .45

Tom, I can certainly see how the young lady's predicament here might cause her to have some serious concerns about the relationship.
