I thought of making this thread because I was tired of stories of people freaking out at the sight of a SAK or an opnel.


Instead of what is, lets see what could be if knives like this were allowed to roam the streets like good old homosapiens.;)

To kick start this thread, I present you with this boar set:

Yes, everyone in NYC should allowed to roam around with one of those strapped to his side. :rolleyes:

While we're at it, I want to be able to everyday carry a nice 29" katana....
 
I suppose I'd carry the same thing I carry now.

Those fantasy "boar hunting" knives are neat to look at and fun to own, but perfectly useless for the things I need a knife for.

Carrying a 16" Bowie knife in public = showing off = no class.

I think those are made to actually hunt boars.

It wasn't my intent to 'dog' on the knife itself nor people who hunt boars with knives. In fact, if I were boar hunting, that would be just the blade I'd want.

But to carry one openly while in town, pure fantasy and pretentiousness.

Yeah, for that application, it's great! But in the city, not so many boars around...... Certainly nothing wrong with carrying that K-Tusk around town however!:thumbup:
