I`m not going to be around here too much. I only have a few knives left to make, and next week I have several interviews for some mediocre jobs. I`ll be sure to post pics of the knives I do complete if they are for BF members. It`s been fun, but it`s time to get real.

Sorry to hear that John, I love your work. Your Kepharts are the best. Hope things get better. Good
luck with the interviews.

Good luck with your interviews John. Please keep us posted! Take care.

Jeff

Ugh. I'm sad to hear this, but as a single dad in this economy, it makes sense. I just picked up a second job myself. If I could afford it, I'd buy more from you John.

I hate to hear this too. The knives that you've made for me are my absolute favorites.
I hope and pray you do well in whatever you do and I hope you do what makes you and "The Boss" happy.

Thanks for the well wishes. Today I borrowed my brother`s Harley and rode out to Princeton, just to kind of clear my head. Super nice weather, low 80`s. If anyone ever wants to order anything, I`ll still be taking orders, but just not making them to post for sale anymore. I`ve got 5 knives here that never sold, and one more that did sell, but never got paid for.

What are they?

This could turn out to be a blessing in disguise. Only time will tell but I wish you the best.

Best wishes, John. I hope you can keep up the knifemaking; your work is very, very good and I'd hate to see your talent go to waste. I also hope you keep your forum open.

What are they?

3/16" thick Camp & Trail in yellow G10
1/8" thick Camp & Trail in tan canvas micarta
1/4" thick chisel ground Combat/Survival with a tan handle and black bolsters
large linerlock folder in black G10
the prototype skeleton necker

I`m going to have to backpedal a little on this. This morning, while some handles were glueing on, I saw a lonely, unreserved piece of steel on my shelf. Feeling sorry for it, I ground it into something that might be a fun little blade. I`ll heat treat it next week with the next batch. In other words, you guys will have to put up with me for a while longer, I`ll at least be doing this part time. If those interviews don`t pan out I`ll probably be working the street corners in Chicago!
