I still use mine, though the soft black rubber has all worn off. Bought it in the late 90's or early 2000's. It was never abused, just pocket carried. The part of the blade forward of the serrations had a bit more belly when it was new but it was used and sharpened a lot. It still locks up beautifully if you keep pocket lint out of the mechanism. Gardening, camping, cooking. I cook with all my Buck knives. That is a vintage Coleman stove they are sitting on. Since that photo I have added a 55, a 345 and an older 119. The 55 and 345 are my EDC knives, 55 in the left and 345 in the right. The 450 is still my weekend knife for when I garden or landscape or whatever.
