Not much talk about the Bark River Bravo III. Anybody have one?

I have been looking for a big knife for while now, maybe to do a bit of chopping with but mostly just to have, and settled on the Bravo III. It's an amazing chunk of satin-finished 3V steel with an excellent leather sheath for a third of the price of a similar Busse. I'm surprised this knife isn't bright up a lot more! Anyone have one?

I had one and it is a very nice large knife. Huge slab of 3v, nice sheath, a ton of knife for the money but a small, slippery handle. I got rid of mine right away due to the polished, small handle. It would make me nervous to try to chop with.

I considered getting one, when it first came out. I'm glad I held out. I thought the knife handle looked way too small compared to the huge blade. Almost like they took the Bravo 2 handle and slapped it on a much bigger knife. That was what ultimately made me pass on it.
sorry, didn't realize this was an old thread
