I had resisted the ASH1's until tonight. For a while now I have been reading all the threads about how this was the new favorite and a great all arounder so I just bit the bullet tonight (before they go away). Can't carry them in Texas with that length blade but it'll be ok ;).

not too hard to resist with this ganzaaa about to kick off.
well at least for me... I still want an ASH1. Just not now...

hey you can't carry in town but now you have a reason to go out of town:D you will as AMY-O told me .(your gone love it love it love it) you know what she was rite. i took all the other knives from my day pack sept. my MK2 and a vic sak. the ash1 is just bad ash.

You won't regret it. I just got a Dbl.cut with Black macarta mags. on Tues. You won't believe how good this knife feels in my hand.
Haven't used it yet, time will tell.

Ordered the traditional black/black with mags. It will fit nicely with its cousins of like color combo. I really like the BATAC so we shall see if this replaces it for the all arounder title.

I had the same urge a couple of days ago.

Held out until then.

Got a double cut/mag black and tan G10 coming.

Whoa! Whoa! I thought Texas was where everything was bigger and better. Do you mean I can carry my ASH1 here in the land of "fruits and nuts" (no offense intended) but you can't in Texas!:confused:

I have moved to all user Busse's and I never take the Ganza journey so it makes it a bit easier on me.

More for U!!!!!!!!:D

I am pretty sure the limit is 5 1/2 on fixed blades here. :grumpy:
Firearms are a different story though.....

like in that onsig line
you don't know the value of a knife unless you use it.
it was hard to bang my first new busse up but it passes now i can't wait to do it again:D

that is enough of a reason for me to never live in texas. Next thing you know Mrs. Clinton will be Texas senator.

I'd keep it out of sight just the same, but I think you can carry a bigger blade as long as you can say you are hiking, camping, hunting, or fishing with it. Or trying to woo sweet, sweet sexy Hillary and her matronly legs down to fill the gap Ann Richards left.

Ah, you succumed to the foolishness that is the Busse forum on BF.

Three months ago, people poo-poo'd the ASH1 as not as good as the SFNO.

Today, everyone HAS to have one - including those poo-poo'ing it 3 months ago.

In five months, they will be gone, dwindled on the BCS and people will talk about how little they liked the knife.

It's funny to see the waxing and waning of blade desires here. Me? I just buy what I want and forget all'ya'll. I like the ASH1 AND the SFNO. (Altho the SFNO is more user-friendly in the hand - but the Randucci thumb-divot could put the ASH1 over the top.)
