Hey all, name's Mike. New to this forum and knife forums in general, belong to alot of other forums involving Ecigs and whatnot. Been lurking for awhile and decided to register and get involved. I've posted a few things in the Becker sub-forum involving mods and such (things i'm working on).
Anyway, a little about me. I'm 32 and live outside Sacramento, married (no kids yet) and i served in the military for 10 years before moving on to pursue my life as a chef (kinda plays into the knives thing) i have a decent collection of field and bushcraft knives but my cutlery in the kitchen usually takes lead when it comes to how i spend my money.
I camp, fish (badly) and stay in the woods as much as time and work (and the wife) allows, i started getting into making micarta and hope to be able to make a few of my own custom knives in the future.
Currently a proud owner of CS recon1, crkt m16, Schrade ES, BK17, BK9, BK14 and currently stalking the mailman for my BK2. Obviously i love Ka-bar Beckers and hope to get my hands on a Busse soon, as well as many others.
