Hey everyone!
I've been trying to watch the trading knives forum, for months now, but I cannot get alerts for it. I have followed and unfollowed to try and get alerts, but nothing.. I follow a handful of other forums and threads and see the new post alerts with no issues. Just wanted to ask here and see if anyone else is having that problem or if I'm just doing something wrong... I'll be watching this thread and will get the alert if someone responds ;)
Any help would be appreciated!

Bump.
Yea this feature is rubbish. If it was worked out like it was during the good ole tapatalk days Id visit more than once a month. That and the pics, irritating is an understatement.

I was hoping this post might attract some tech support... i'm not complaining about the lack of notifications like the tapatalk days (yea those were the good old days) ...but instead the lack of an alert that someone posted to the trading forum. I'm "watching" the forum, just like I watch everything else, but an alert never pops up for it and it doesn't show up on my alert page...
If i'm doing something wrong, i'd love to know how to correct this. If it's a tech issue, it would be cool if it could get addressed.

I'd post a screenshot to show what i mean, but that's just too difficult ;) jk jk

Thanks!!

Have you set up your watched forums to send alerts? It’s not in your alert preferences but rather an action you need to do in your watched forums section.

Thanks for the suggestion!!
I have not had to set up the alerts in the past, so I never saw that page before. The picture below clearly shows I'm not set up for alerts. However, I checked the box and chose the "enable alert" option and pressed 'go' and nothing changed, still looks the same, still no alert... Tried it about 5 times.

Here's a shot of me trying to follow the WTB forum... Notice the options.
And the next shot is what I get prompted with when I try and follow the trade forum.

Well there you go, looks like you can’t get alerts for the trade forums; I did the same experiment you did and I couldn’t get any alert setting to stick.

Strange, but it seems he trade forum is set up different than he rest.

Very strange. oh well.. I appreciate the help, glad you responded because it's been driving me nuts and it makes me happier knowing it's not just me haha

Yeah, I have tech support set for alerts when new threads are posted so to hear they aren’t working when I keep getting them is usually a sign of another problem. Also, I have tech support watched so that should tell you I enjoy challenges and debugging issues.
